Mr. & Mrs. Wiggins - Part 1

Image
On Friday morning, we drove down to Woodbridge to link up with Grandma & Papa and to drop Tommy in doggy jail. Then it was off to Charlottesville for Lindsay & Eric's wedding weekend!!! We made a stop at the Corner, popping in to say hello to Jason's old co-workers and boss at the Ragged Mountain Running Store, to get sandwiches from Take It Away - the best sandwich place ever! After lunch, we checked into the hotel and quickly got unpacked and dressed for the rehearsal.  Jason, Reagan, Savannah and I drove to Trump Winery and our jaws dropped when we saw the location of the wedding: Seriously, how beautiful is this?! It was a bit chilly at 5pm, but the lighting was absolutely gorgeous and everyone enjoyed a quick walk through of the ceremony. Reagan loves her Great Aunt Sheri!   Another view of the gorgeous winery! Beautiful bridesmaids! Uncle Scott practices walking Lindsay down the aisle Look at this stunning bride! She doesn&

Savannah: 2 Months!

Image
Savannah's 2-month appointment was a bit early (10/18/13), but it coincided with my very late 6 week check up, so we called it good. She weighed in at 11 pounds 11 ounces and was 22 1/2 inches long. On October 23rd, I took her 2-month pictures... Alien baby with the crossed eyes:) Jessica - doesn't this look remind you of our freaky 2 week picture?! She's been smiling for weeks now. ... and just learned to pout - look at that bottom lip!! Big smile! I hope I don't jinx myself, but Savannah is a wonderful sleeper! She gives me no less than 3 hours at a time during the night (most times 4-5 hours) and she naps decently during the day! What a welcome change after waking up every hour for 6 months with Reagan!

Fall Gold Cup

Image
Saturday, October 19th, was this year's fall Gold Cup. Jason was at the UVA football game, so the girls and I met up with some friends just off of 66 and headed to The Plains for some horse racing. Jon, Rachel, Alex and Scott piled in the van (everyone makes fun of the van until you realize it can hold 5 adults and two kids comfortably) and we arrived earlier than 95% of the crowd:) But the tent, beverages, and food were all set up and Grandpa Rick, Gary Mike and IP were all there waiting for us. And despite a chill in the air, we all had a wonderful time!  This is the real reason I go to Gold Cup:) Best. Bacon. Ever. Reagan fixed herself a plate as soon as we arrived! Jon, Rachel, Alex and Scott - not only is this an awesome group of people just because, but they also played with Reagan the entire time! The girls! Savannah was staying warm! Uncle Kevin was teaching Reagan how to dance... This girl seriously has a crush:) Ka

West Point Trip (Part 3)

So Oktoberfest was about 1 mile from Adam & Lauren's house. It took us 1 hour to get there and park!!! Luckily, both girls napped and didn't make a peep. It was mostly the standard Oktoberfest fare...beer, brats, and other delicious German food. They also had a lot of various vendors peddling their goods and a few people who just looked like they set up a yard sale. The scenery was spectacular and the beer was refreshing...all in all, a pretty wonderful day. Jason, Vinny & Lauren Couldn't resist:) Reagan spent most of the day playing in this tree stump! Our wonderful hosts for the weekend! As per her usual, Savannah was having a blast. This is just after Reagan tried to tell me she wasn't dirty! Savvy finally woke up for the party:) And then promptly went back to sleep!
