Showing Off for Jessica

Image
When we were young, Jessica and I put on approximately 10 "shows" a day. We must have been absolutely exhausting. Apparently, having each other wasn't quite enough, we needed an audience too. That being said, I was hardly surprised when Reagan begged to show Jess how she can ride her scooter & glider bike. Here's a few pics of Reagan (rocking her Little Mermaid pjs), demonstrating her skills:  We are working on steering:) These two are NOT amused.

Cookie Baking!

When we were growing up, Jessica and I helped our mom make cookies for all the neighbors each Christmas season. It was one of our favorite traditions!  So Reagan and I waited until Jess arrived to do the same for our neighbors! Aunts are the best, because they do all the fun stuff with their nieces and never lose patience (like mommies!).

Because they're only going to let me do this for so many years... I LOVE THESE GIRLS!

Brotherly Love

WHO'S THE BEST DOG EVER?!  (Well it sure isn't Tommy, but we love him anyway. Seriously, he chews his own foot off.)

Reagan...The Shepherd

On Reagan's last day of school before the Christmas break, she had her very first school play! Grandma, Papa, Savannah and I arrived at the fellowship hall and waited for the show to begin. We were so excited! It got off to quite a rocky start when Joseph refused to go on stage and another kid went into the crowd to sit with his mom, but with the help of the teachers, they little ones did a wonderful job telling the story of Jesus' birth.  In the program, Reagan was listed as an "Angel in Training," but when the angels came out, she was nowhere in sight. Shortly after, we saw the cutest shepherd ever!!!  This is when she finally saw all of us and yelled, "Hi Mommy! Grandma! Papa!!!" And then wiped her nose with the sheep:) Reagan takes a bow! It really was a cute show, and with only 4 days of school to practice, they did a great job!

A Snowy Surprise

One snowy morning, Tommy was driving us crazy with his inability to settle down. Finally, I looked outside and saw why he was so excited...Papa had come to play in the snow with Reagan! After bundling up, they went out in the front yard and built the world's tiniest snowman:) Best. Papa. Ever.
