Kumquats and such

At the end of January, Reagan's dance class "performed" their first recital! I was so excited (and she was too:) Grandma & Papa met us at the theater and despite the fact that it was freezing in there, we enjoyed a very cute show! And Jason surprised all of us, by leaving work a bit early to see his big girl dance! Grandma & Papa brought a very special card for Reagan and a beautiful flower!

To a brother, brother-in-law, and uncle who has been there for the most important moments of our lives...HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! We love you so much, and we are so lucky to have you so close for the past (and next few) years.   There are brothers and those that share blood.   But there are a special few, a proud breed,  who know that blood runs thicker than water, that even stones bleed. That there are upsides and down, good times and bad, happy moments that make you sad, and sad times that make you glad. These times, these moments, these seconds of time, make I your brother, and forever you mine. There are no words to describe how important you are to us.  For me (Jason) since the moment I laid eyes on you and knew that you would forever be my brother.  For Jen in finding the brother she never had, but would never let go of.  For the girls, in knowing you since the day they each came into the world and always will...because you're one of the...

We were so lucky to have Leanne, Connor, and Declan come hangout one afternoon while they were visiting the area (they live in Germany now!). Surprisingly, they all played fairly well together and ate lunch relatively quietly...until Connor and Reagan discovered that falling off their chairs made Declan laugh hysterically:) But they were good enough that Leanne and I were able to eat in the other room and catch up - so that definitely called for CUPCAKES!  I put some icing on them and gave the kiddos some sprinkles, allowing them to decorate as they wished. Then I just stood back with the camera while Leanne held Savannah...so much fun! Love the finger stuck in the cupcake:) Someone is a big fan of icing! Make that two someones:) Always delighted to see such wonderful friends. Connor is one of Reagan's first friends, and I hope we will always be close (in spirit now, but we better live close together again too!!).

Savannah's 5-month pictures! She sleeps like a champ! (knock on wood) At this point still only drinking milk. Rolls over easily front to back & back to front. Laughs hysterically at Reagan.

A sunny afternoon called for some outdoor time with the kiddos!  Look at that hair! What a stud! Savannah wanted in on the action... The whole gang together!
