Reagan's New Swing & Some Backyard Fun
A couple months ago, the girls woke up at 6 and were hanging out in our room while we tried to relax. All of a sudden, we heard some banging and clattering and saw someone climbing a ladder outside the window! Thank goodness it was Papa:) He was there to put up Reagan's new swing!!! She immediately loved it and continues to beg us to push her ALL THE TIME! Papa even showed Reagan how to swing standing up! Later that afternoon, Chris & Sarah came over to grill out. Savannah had a ball just hanging out on the porch, and Reagan had even more people to push her:) Reagan was really excited to help out with dinner!!! A pic from earlier in the day when Reagan was helping us with the yard work!
Savannah - 8 Months!
A little behind since this one is 10 months now, but this is the last time I took the monthly photo! At 8 months, Savannah could crawl just about anywhere and pull up on the furniture. She ate EVERYTHING! And still slept like a champ...I hope that never changes!!!
Getting Ready for Bed
Any given day at our house, you'll find a different bedtime "routine." We typically stick to bath, bed & books like everyone else, but we're not locked into a particular order/time/etc. We've found that this method has pros and cons like anything else. The pro: if we're not at home during bedtime, or we stay up a little later, the girls adjust fairly well. The con: Reagan isn't the best sleeper...never has been. In fact, for the last 5 days, she's been getting up at 5:30 every morning. Just like Princess Anna from Frozen, Reagan says, "The sun's awake, so I'm awake!" That being said, we will probably stick to what we've been doing for the last four years... On the nights when Jason is home, Reagan would much rather have him do the "routine." On this particular night, I was able to capture a bit of our every day life...
Final Easter Post - Hanging Out at GG's
After brunch, we adjourned to GG's house and spent time watching the crazy girls have fun together... Apparently too much fun was had:) And I'm back! How lucky are these girls, they have 2 sets of great grandparents who love them so very much!
Easter Brunch
After church and Easter baskets, we headed over to the Springfield Country Club for brunch with the Goodale family! We try to take advantage of the gorgeous scenery and snap some updated family pictures at the same time... But we can't be too serious:)
