Kumquats and such

A few days after Christmas, we got together with the Campbell Clan to celebrate Grandma Isabel's birthday! We gathered at Greensprings and had a great birthday lunch and spent time with almost all the aunts, uncles & cousins. It was wonderful! Savannah even broke away from me for quite some time to play with her Uncle Geoffrey and later, her cousin Lindsay! What a nice break:) While we were waiting to be seated, I let Reagan take some pictures... What a goofball! Lindsay and Eric are the best...they let Savannah play with phones AND Eric's wallet! The crew came out and sang Happy Birthday to MeeMaw and gave her a dish of peppermint ice cream! Selfies with Grandma! If you ever wonder whether or not true love exists, just spend a few moments with these two amazing people below. Although the last couple years have been tough, when you talk to Grandpa, you wouldn't have a clue. I would argue that there is no one on earth ...

As per her usual, Reagan was up EARLY on Christmas morning. That girl hates sleep:) We asked her to go back to her room for a bit, which she happily did because she knew what awaited. Once it was a reasonable hour and Savannah was stirring, we got both girls and headed down to start Christmas! Savannah got her own phone. Santa brought Reagan a set of emergency vehicles which were a big hit! And Uncle Adam and Auntie Lauren sent two awesome gifts - a plant & grow set for Reagan and a recycling truck with a remote for Savannah - which were also well received!  Reagan asked Santa for a Spider-Man toy and he delivered to one very happy girl! And her cousins, Morgan & Michael, gave her such an awesome gift...an Elsa print! It's hanging in the playroom and it's perfect! Thanks to a UPS mixup, Jess and I got matching fleece-lined flannel shirts from LL Bean!  Only the best aunts play tea party with their nieces!  Jason...

After a wonderful night at GG's, we came home and did a quick bedtime for Savannah. Then we let Reagan select a few cookies for Santa and a carrot for his reindeer:) Jason wrote a letter from Reagan and Savannah to Santa, and then he read The Night Before Christmas. Look, you're Olaf!
