Halloween at School!

Image
Reagan typically goes to preschool Monday, Wednesday and Friday, but since Halloween fell on Thursday this year, I asked if she could come for an extra day! All the kids wore their costumes to school. They played for the first hour and a half (they don't attempt school work on holidays because the kids are literally crazy!). Then, some of the parents returned for the "parade!" Our pirate princess! Getting ready for the parade The preschool director - Mrs. Spurlock Reagan's teacher - Mrs. Brenda This is one of Reagan's classmates - Neeva - I just loved her costume:) The hat that wouldn't stay put! After the parade, they went into the fellowship hall with Pastor Janet and listened to Harold & the Purple Crayon . Pastor Janet even dressed up as a purple crayon! Once the story was over, they all headed back into the classroom for a party! Reagan really enjoyed her extra day of school:)

Pumpkin Carving

On the Monday before Halloween, we carved our pumpkins. Jason insisted that each member of the family have their own, so after work, he swung by the store to get two more:) While I baked cookies for the neighbors, Jason & Reagan gutted pumpkin #1! As per the usual, Savannah was actively engaged in the evening's activity:) Reagan, being our girl who doesn't really like to get dirty, lost interest in the pumpkin gutting fairly quickly. But she did enjoy helping Daddy draw the face design! And then Daddy even let her help cut out the shapes!!! So proud! Jason did all the hard work and gutted the rest of the pumpkins, including this MONSTER one pictured below. Yes, his head is inside the pumpkin!!! He carved one for himself and another for Savannah, leaving mine hollow, cleaned and ready to carve. I don't have photos of the other designs, but they were all very…unique:)!

Mr. & Mrs. Wiggins - Part 4

When the ceremony concluded, we took the opportunity (with the amazing scenery and weather) to take some family photos! The reception was wonderful - good food, great people and quite a party!  A little outdoor dancing during the happy hour. Love Uncle Kev & Aunt Lisa!!! A smiling Savannah hung out with Grandma!  First dance and a married couple! Lindsay & Uncle Scott during the father/daughter dance... ...showing off some surprise moves! Cutest choreography! Another daddy/daughter dance:) One of my favorite shots from the entire weekend. How sweet is this?! It was like this most of the night! AWESOME! One tuckered out flower girl!

Mr. & Mrs. Wiggins - Part 3

Before we knew it, the ceremony was about to begin! I took my seat with Jason (wearing Savannah:) and we crossed our fingers that Reagan would perform. Once again, then lighting was beautiful as the sun shone down and the breeze calmed just enough that no one was too chilly! Aunt Sheri was stunning as the mother of the bride and had the biggest grin I've ever seen. The handsome groom, Eric! After a little confusion (Jason and I were waving to Reagan to signal that she should go the direction that the bridesmaids went - instead of straight toward us - so she just kept waving back), Reagan made it down the center aisle and looked absolutely beautiful! She sat down with us for the ceremony and was very well behaved! Savannah slept the entire time:) Beautiful bridesmaids in their Toms and shawls given by Lindsay! And finally it was time for Uncle Scott to walk his baby girl down the aisle! She was the most beautiful bride and you can just see the pride an...
