Our Family

In July 2006, I met the man I was destined to marry. However, it wasn't until September of 2007 that we realized, "Hey, maybe we should try out this whole dating thing." About 8 minutes after that, he asked me to marry him, and on September 13, 2008, we made it official.  We got married at the Marine Memorial Chapel in Quantico, VA.

We honeymooned in Hawaii - courtesy of Jason's grandparents giving us the use of their timeshare for 10 glorious days on the big island.  In February 2009, we moved from Arlington, VA to Columbus, GA where Jason attended the Maneuver Career Captains Course at Ft. Benning, GA.  (I found part time work at a local bike shop.)

(A favorite pastime of ours is camping and hiking in the Shenandoah mountains. )

It was in Ft. Benning that we added to the family!  Jason adopted Sir Thomas Jefferson Goodale - or Tommy.  All in all, he's a good dog and we aside from a few incidents when he was younger, we love him dearly.  Here he is on Top Sail Beach in North Carolina.

In August 2009, we moved from Columbus, GA to Jacksonville, NC where Jason checked into 1st Battalion, 9th Marines.  In NC, we were fortunate to find a house with a large yard for Tommy (and for my gardening adventures).

We welcomed our little girl, Reagan Campbell on 23 July at 7:58pm.

She is 5 1/2 now...

We rented our house in NC when Jason got orders to the National Capital Region. We are currently living in Mt. Vernon, VA and loving it. We had another baby girl on August 23, 2013.

Savannah Jaie is 2 1/2 and a wild child!
