It's Almost Here!

This Sunday was absolutely beautiful! The weather was hopefully a foreshadowing of the spring to come! There is a large flowerbed in our front yard, and while I planted some bulbs in the fall, there were already lots in there...and it's been a lot of fun watching different things pop up. These yellow crocuses are springing up (pun intended) everywhere. Even some on the side of the driveway:) Reagan loves to pick them.  And while spring is still teasing us outside, we brought a little bit of nature in the house. Here is some of our seedlings!  As soon as I get to the store to grab fertilizer and manure, I'll plant spinach & radishes in the garden patch just outside the kitchen door. Then we'll head over to Grandpa & Grandma Campbell's and plant their garden beds too! Hooray for homegrown veggies!!!

Christmas 2012

Christmas morning arrived and Reagan slept until about 6:30 (normal wake up time for her). We were all up and waiting for her, so that I could take pictures as she walked down the stairs to see that Santa came to visit! It was such a beautiful present, enhanced by the card which included a picture of Aunt Lisa actually wearing the pjs when she was tiny! Santa brought Reagan a whole bunch of princess dress up clothes! She had Daddy open them immediately so she could try them on. Every present she opened required direct attenti...

An Awesome Arrival & Christmas Eve (Part 1)

***WARNING - SERIOUS PHOTO BOMB*** On December 23rd, I was thrilled to drive to the airport and pick up Jessica who would be spending the holidays with us! I had great intentions of parking and getting some pictures of her as she came off the plane, but shockingly the airline had her on the ground 30 minutes EARLY! Oh well, we'll settle for these two:) We had a fairly low key day, running a quick errand in Old Town and then eating dinner at Gary Mike's house. That was all in preparation for the super busy day we would have on Christmas Eve! Christmas Eve morning, we hopped in the car and drove to Stafford to Uncle Scott & Aunt Sheri's house. Their house is always beautifully decorated for Christmas (Mt Vernon has nothing on Uncle Scott's Christmas stash!). Everyone brings a dish and we enjoy way too much food and lots of great family time with the Campbell side. This year was no different... Papa got Santa on the phone for Reagan! Apparentl...
