NC Girls' Weekend

Since Jason is out of town, we decided to schedule an impromptu girls weekend visit in North Carolina. It was great to see Lynsey & Colleen and their families. Jessica, the girls and I drove down Friday night and got to Lynsey's just before midnight. We didn't do much, but hang around the house and play outside on the first day. It was relaxing and fun. Brian was awesome and played with the kids while Jess, Lynsey & I did a workout in their amazing home gym. Colleen came up with the boys around lunch time on Saturday. All the kids fawned over Miles, or as they have names him, Baby My My. I think Savannah really enjoyed not being the youngest for a few days. Saturday night, we ordered pizza, ate way too much, and Grammy Betty came over. We haven't seen her in a long time and it was wonderful to chat with her again.

The next day, we woke up to some snow! We played outside again and the kids played well together which was nice for us adults. Colleen and the boys headed home, Lynsey, Jess and I did another workout, then we all went to the Loop with Grammy Betty, Zach, Taylor and Ethan for dinner. We drove north the following morning, and I stopped at Grandma and Papa's to drop the girls off for a sleepover at their house. All in all, a GREAT weekend!

Reagan loved feeding Miles! Colleen is so relaxed with all the kids smothering Miles with love.

We could not keep Reagan's pants up on this day...kept showing us her plumber's crack!

Allie was unimpressed with my camera:)

Whenever we get together, we take a picture of all the kids together. This group has certainly grown! It's also impossible to get smiles from all of them at the same time. Good work on this one, Max!

Mason and Caroline LOVE Jessica! They wrestle and play tickle monster all the time.

The 2-year old demonstrating the iPhone for the 1-year old!

Mason is really into Legos, which rubbed off on Reagan. We just bought her first set.

Reagan just finished the basketball unit in her gym class at school. She was actually pretty good!

Puddles call for galoshes and jumping!

Grammy Betty, multi-tasking. Savannah cuddled right up to her!

More Lego time!

Sleepover in the playroom. Reagan and Savannah both ended up in my bed, but it was fun while it lasted.

Snow!

Max in his pajamas catching a few flakes.

Miles and his giant claw. So cute!
