Reagan Goes to Kindergarten!
Reagan attended the North Post Child Development Center (CDC) at Ft. Belvoir for the last 9 1/2 months, and we loved her teachers. She made some friends there and mostly enjoyed going to "school" each day. In her Pre-K class, she learned a lot, including several Spanish words! Not one for long goodbyes, we snapped a quick picture with two of her main teachers, Ms. Zayas and Ms. Veronica, and got a picture of her with the building before heading out for the last time.
We actually left the CDC early that day because we had Open House at her new school! Reagan was excited to find out that her friend, Ethan, would be in her class...there are 10 kindergarten classes at Woodley Hills! She got to meet her teachers, Ms. Dunbar and Ms. Rafi, and take a quick tour of the school.
After a great long weekend of camping in WV, riding her bike, playing with her sister and hanging out with Grandma & Papa, Reagan was really excited about her first day! Best part...riding the bus, of course! It was such a big day, Papa even came up to see her off.
She hardly looked back as she boarded the bus, and I didn't even get a goodbye hug! But we are so proud of our big girl! She had a great first day and is looking forward to a fun year!
Savannah was not happy to see Reagan board the bus:( The entire trip to the CDC where she's still going, she kept saying, "Sissy bus? Where Sissy? Reagan's seat?"
Proud of you for printing the first day signs :)
