An Awesome Arrival & Christmas Eve (Part 1)

***WARNING - SERIOUS PHOTO BOMB***

On December 23rd, I was thrilled to drive to the airport and pick up Jessica who would be spending the holidays with us! I had great intentions of parking and getting some pictures of her as she came off the plane, but shockingly the airline had her on the ground 30 minutes EARLY! Oh well, we'll settle for these two:)

We had a fairly low key day, running a quick errand in Old Town and then eating dinner at Gary Mike's house. That was all in preparation for the super busy day we would have on Christmas Eve!

Christmas Eve morning, we hopped in the car and drove to Stafford to Uncle Scott & Aunt Sheri's house. Their house is always beautifully decorated for Christmas (Mt Vernon has nothing on Uncle Scott's Christmas stash!). Everyone brings a dish and we enjoy way too much food and lots of great family time with the Campbell side. This year was no different...

Papa got Santa on the phone for Reagan!

Apparently Maddie is weaselly, just like Reagan. Here she is in the pop-up trash can:)

MeeMaw and Reagan:) Love this!

Reagan seriously could NOT get enough of this doggie:)

We also open a few presents at this event. Lindsay and Eric had a present for Reagan, and she opened it first...it was a hand-decorated ornament asking Reagan to be their flower girl!!! How sweet is that?! She was so proud of her ornament and kept showing it to everyone!

Then it started snowing!!! Nicholas and Brody were demonstrating the proper snowflake catching techniques for Reagan:

I LOVE this picture of Uncle Geoffrey!

We started a new Campbell Christmas Eve tradition this year...shots of Fireball! (It's a cinnamon flavored whiskey - tastes just like a fireball.)

While Uncle Chris prepped the shot glasses (aka ketchup cups from McDonalds), Reagan hung out with her buddy Brody, and I got a couple more pictures:

Lindsay & PeePaw

Nicholas & Brett - the college kids!

Then it was back to business:

Reagan even got a taste...of WATER!

I'm quite sure Reagan had the most presents to open that morning. After the ornament from Lindsay, Grandma and Papa surprised her with this gift:

How cute?!

Reagan got a game called "Don't Spill the Beans" and I love this shot of the older cousins playing with her:)

We also take a picture of MeeMaw with all her grandchildren. This picture is typically taken on MeeMaw's birthday, but I decided that we should grab one while the opportunity was there!

And while we finished opening gifts and taking more pictures, the snow picked up, so Reagan headed back outside with Papa!

So I warned you that it was a photo bomb of a post, but this is just a fraction of the ones I took. Love that we have such a close, wonderful family to celebrate the holidays with! Stay tuned for part 2:)
