Kumquats and such

Uncle Geoffrey scored major bonus points with this Christmas gift...Reagan absolutely loves it and plays with it several times a week. Caught a few pictures of her rockin' out:)

While making dinner one evening, I noticed something strange...it was quiet in the house. Too quiet. Upon making a round of the house, I saw Pinky in this state: Yup, that's the entire contents of her food jar. Reagan was a little overzealous in her efforts to "help!" No worries, I cleaned the tank immediately and Pinky is still happy and healthy! And the food is now hidden:)

On Memorial Day, we enjoyed a wonderful BBQ at Mil & Fil's house with Geoffrey, Glenna and Cody! As usual, Cindi made way too many delicious appetizers and we finally got to try Geoffrey's habanero salsa and Rick's cucumber salsa...both very tasty! Reagan spent the weekend at Grandma & Papa's house and was ready to show off her pool skills once we arrived! Even though it was warm out, there wasn't any sun, so Papa & Daddy took turns filling large buckets with warm water (inside) and filling the pool:) The pool is fun by yourself, but it's WAY MORE FUN when Daddy gets in too! After drying off, but before sitting down to dinner, Reagan fell asleep on the floor...must have had too much fun in the pool with Daddy! On the Sunday before Memorial Day, we had some friends stop by on their way back to NC! Dave & Jason served together in 1st Battalion, 9th Marines and became fast friends. It was so nice that they got a chance to catch up. And I got to spend some quality time with Dave's wife, Kim, and their beautiful daughter, Sophie! Reagan was actually spending the weekend in Woodbridge, so it was a bummer that the girls couldn't see each other, but certainly easier to just watch one! They were just stopping by, but we convinced them to stay the night and we had a great visit!  Not sure what Tommy thought of Mr. Sullivan though:)

At the end of April, Reagan and I drove to Tyson's Corner to meet Leanne, Connor & Declan for one last play date before the McSween's move to Germany! We met at the food court and let the kids play for a while. Reagan kept trying to help Declan do things...she's going to be a great big sister!  We've been in a playgroup with Connor since he and Reagan were just babies, and it's been so awesome to watch them grow up together. Watching them develop into these little people with their own personalities is incredible, and even though we're going to be separated by over 4000 miles for the next three years, I look forward to seeing pictures and hearing stories about these two little guys! Several weeks ago, the Donlon's and the McSween's came over for one last hurrah before they move to California and Germany, respectively. Mil & Fil and Geoffrey & Glenna came over too! We spent time together and grilled out. It was awesome to see the kids together since they have known each other since birth! Connor & Reagan The gang watching Disney! How adorable is Declan?!
