Family Day
The week before Easter, Jason took several days off. On Good Friday, we decided that a family day was in order, and Jason planned our day. We started at Gravelly Point, a park near Reagan National Airport, where we watched the planes take off. It's fairly obvious from the pictures & Reagan's expressions, but she loved it!
Cool bird.
We spent a little time pretending to fly ourselves...
Even Savannah got in on the action:)
Family picture time! Thank goodness for the timer function!
After watching the planes for an hour and a half or so, we drove into Old Town for some lunch.
Amazing sky, right? Looks like someone painted it!
We ate lunch at the Waterfront and Savannah sat in a restaurant high chair for the first time.
After lunch, we wandered through the Torpedo Factory, a building in Old Town full of art studios. I put the camera away for most of our tour, but not before snapping a pic of Reagan hugging a panda made of trash:)
After the Torpedo Factory, both girls fell asleep, so Jason and I got to enjoy some ice cream on our walk back to the van!
