Thanksgiving!

For the second year in a row, we were delighted to welcome Cindi, Rick, Geoffrey and Daisy to Jacksonville to celebrate Thanksgiving!  They piled into the van at 1:15 on Thursday morning to arrive in time help cook a feast and of course, to play with Reagan.

Thanksgiving table/buffet decor - MIL sent that gorgeous centerpiece from ProFlowers!

Pre-dinner activity - enjoying a gorgeous day!

FIL hardly put her down all weekend!

I didn't photograph everything we ate, but I tried to get a few pictures.  Here's the menu: Oven roasted turkey, grilled Cajun Turducken, garlic-herb sautéed green beans, au-gratin brussel sprouts, bacon/cheese/chive biscuits, and potato stuffing!

On Friday, Jason, FIL and I played 13 holes of golf before the rain caught us.  Then we headed home to relax for a bit and plan our outing to Wilmington.  We drove down in the early afternoon and walked around the Cotton Exchange before going to dinner at Elijah's.

SO SWEET!

On Saturday, Jason and FIL went to Lowe's to get supplies to repair the fence and returned home with a perfect Christmas tree!  They placed it in the stand and put the lights on, then headed outside to do "men's work."  While Geoffrey played with Miss Reagan, I retrieved the Christmas decorations and got busy.  MIL came down and helped me decorate the tree - and we added the beautiful ornaments she got for us in Wilmington (I'll put up a pic of those later).

Lounging in her new chair.  Ok, really she was sliding out and I barely had a hold of that foot just outside the shot:)

All in all, we had a fantastic weekend. Thank MIL, FIL and Geoffrey for making it such a special occasion!  Love you guys.
