Mason's 1st Birthday...Part 2

On Saturday, 3 September, Lynsey and Brian celebrated their son, Mason's birthday in Sesame Street style.  Ever that party-planner, Lynsey had every detail thought out and had worked diligently to prepare all the decorations.  I've tried to capture everything in the two collages below, but I'm sure I missed something.  Primary colors were found throughout the house, from streamers and balloons, to cupcakes and rainbow fruit skewers.  This girl knows how to plan a party!

Lynsey printed Mason's monthly pictures, matted them, and strung them on ribbon - the perfect display for those who haven't had the opportunity to watch this little guy grow up over the last year.

Each of the children in attendance was given a personally decorated goodie bag full of Sesame Street books, snacks, and bubbles.  Lynsey made chocolate dipped marshmallows, chocolate drizzled pretzel rods, and delicious veggie cups to add to a spread of pizza, chips, goldfish and animal crackers, fruit, and of course, dessert!  Seriously, there wasn't a detail missing.

Mason was the perfect toddler during his party.  He sported his birthday shirt and shared a slice of pizza with his girlfriend, McKinley.  When it came time to eat his cake, he and McKinley sat on the floor and chowed down.  They were so cute!

In addition to the fabulous food and decorations, Lynsey planned a craft table for the children, and Brian dragged out the corn hole boards for the adults.  Brian also made an amazing Sesame Street mural complete with two cutouts for the kids (and adults) to put their faces in for pictures!  It was absolutely adorable and the perfect touch.

I'm definitely considering creating a website for Lynsey (behind her back of course) so she can officially start her party planning business.  This girl has serious skills!

Here are a few more pictures (as if there aren't enough already):
