Early Birthday Presents

You all saw the amazing kitchen in yesterday's post, and now you can see little miss Reagan actually playing with it.  She absolutely loves all the drawers and doors on it, and of course, she loves the little telephone that sits on the countertop.  The oven & microwave even have buttons that make noise!  She can't quite reach the microwave yet, but I'm sure that will only be a matter of time and a couple more inches.

Perfect size...I'll have her doing dishes in no time.

Sporting her Justin Bieber look, Reagan shows off her new kitchen!

And Lynsey & Brian, gave Reagan a new bike helmet (to go with the gift we're getting her).  It fits perfectly and Reagan toted it around all afternoon and evening.  Can't wait to get some use out of it once we get her a bike seat!

Yay for my new helmet!  Thanks Lynsey, Brian & Mason!

    Working with a pair of guidelines, you are going to notice that it really is family member easy to deploy your own personal kitchen countertops, even though you could have no do-it-yourself knowledge.

NC Girls' Weekend

Since Jason is out of town, we decided to schedule an impromptu girls weekend visit in North Carolina. It was great to see Lynsey & Colleen and their families. Jessica, the girls and I drove down Friday night and got to Lynsey's just before midnight. We didn't do much, but hang around the house and play outside on the first day. It was relaxing and fun. Brian was awesome and played with the kids while Jess, Lynsey & I did a workout in their amazing home gym. Colleen came up with the boys around lunch time on Saturday. All the kids fawned over Miles, or as they have names him, Baby My My. I think Savannah really enjoyed not being the youngest for a few days. Saturday night, we ordered pizza, ate way too much, and Grammy Betty came over. We haven't seen her in a long time and it was wonderful to chat with her again.  The next day, we woke up to some snow! Bath Time Fun

Typically, after Jason gets home and eats dinner, he is on bath duty. It gives me 10 minutes to clean the kitchen, set up his coffee and make his lunch for the following day. One day last week though, everything was already done, so I snuck in to watch the fun. We recently got some Mr. Bubbles for Reagan and she LOVED them. She's such a cheeseball!

Bath Time: PAHM Style

I've mentioned it before, but I will say it again: I love Play At Home Mom !!! This site is the best for ideas to interact with, engage, and teach your children. Reagan takes a bath almost every night. She has the typical assortment of toys (rubber boats, cups, a turtle, etc) to entertain her, but lately, she just leaves them in the bag. I decided to introduce some new things during bath time and they were a huge hit! Here are some pictures from our "adventures in bath fun." First up: BUBBLES ! It's a bit too cold to just hang out in the yard blowing bubbles, so I decided that bath time would be the perfect opportunity for a mess free bubble party! I LOVE this shot.  Secondly, (and straight from PAHM), I added: WATER BALLOONS !!! She absolutely loved when I poked a small hole in them and they became "water fountains!"
